Description

Delicious and easy cheesy Hawaiian sliders perfect for gatherings and parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (12-count) sweet Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese (or your favorite melting cheese)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional, for extra tang)
  • 4 slices turkey ham (optional, for extra protein)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Keeping the Hawaiian rolls intact, slice the entire slab horizontally with a serrated knife. You’ll end up with a top and bottom slab—like a sandwich bun.
  3. Place the bottom half of the rolls in your baking dish. Layer the cheddar cheese evenly over the surface. For extra flavor or texture, you can also add turkey ham or thinly sliced beef sausage here.
  4. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese layer, gently pressing down.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, parsley, and Dijon mustard (if using). Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
  6. Cover the dish loosely with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5–7 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
  7. Let the rolls cool for a couple of minutes. Then, using a sharp knife, cut along the lines to separate into individual sliders. Serve warm and watch them disappear.

Notes

  • Great for parties as they are easy to make and serve.
  • Can substitute turkey ham with beef sausage for different flavor.
