Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Description

Deliciously crispy chicken wings made in an air fryer, coated with your favorite seasonings and sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken wings (or wing dings)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon your favorite chicken seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1/2 cup your favorite wing sauce
  • 4 Tablespoons butter
  • olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Place the wings in a large bowl of salted water, cover, and refrigerate for an hour.
  2. Drain the water from the bowl and pat the wings dry with paper towel.
  3. Sprinkle seasonings on both sides of the wings.
  4. Line the air fryer basket with a parchment paper liner (optional) and lightly spray with olive oil.
  5. Place the wings in a single layer in the basket.
  6. Cook at 360 degrees F for 12 minutes, use tongs to flip the wings, then cook another 12 minutes.
  7. While the wings are cooking, to a small microwave safe bowl, melt the butter then pour in the wing sauce and stir.
  8. Once the wings are done, use a pastry brush to brush the wings with the sauce then turn the air fryer up to 390 degrees and cook another 5 minutes or until your favorite level of crispy.
  9. Repeat as necessary for additional batches of wings.
  10. Serve with ranch, bleu cheese, or additional wing sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Wings can be doubled for larger servings.
