Description

A deliciously crispy skin salmon dish, enhanced with fresh dill and a hint of lemon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fillets Salmon (Choose skin-on for added flavor and crispy texture.)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil (A light drizzle ensures a beautiful sear without overpowering the fish.)
  • to taste Salt (Enhances the natural flavors of the salmon.)
  • to taste Black pepper (Freshly cracked for a subtle kick.)
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh dill (Adds a vibrant, herby note that complements the salmon beautifully.)
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice (Brightens up the dish and balances richness; fresh is best!)
  • 1 clove Garlic (Minced for a fragrant base that elevates your sauce.)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream (Provides creaminess; you can substitute with mayo if desired.)

Instructions

  1. Pat your salmon fillets dry with a paper towel to ensure a nice sear.
  2. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and fresh dill on both sides of the fillets.
  3. Place a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Allow it to heat until shimmering.
  4. Gently lay the salmon fillets skin-side down in the hot pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  5. Carefully flip the fillets using a spatula and reduce heat slightly. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the salmon is opaque.
  6. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillets during the last minute of cooking.

Notes

  • Ensure the pan is hot before adding the salmon to get the best crispy skin.
  • Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the salmon fillets.
