Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture; mix until fully combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the fresh raspberries.
  7. Scoop tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. Cool before serving.
