Description

A delicious stir-fried dish featuring udon noodles and colorful vegetables, perfect for a quick meal!


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces udon noodles
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cups cabbage, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook the udon noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  4. Add sliced cabbage, julienned carrots, and sliced bell pepper; stir-fry until tender yet vibrant, 3-5 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked udon noodles and toss everything together.
  6. Pour in soy sauce and mirin, tossing until well combined and heated through.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
