Vegetarian Sausage Rolls

Description

Delicious vegetarian sausage rolls wrapped in flaky puff pastry. Perfect as an appetizer or snack!


Ingredients

  • 1 package (14 oz) vegetarian sausages
  • 1 sheet (17 oz) frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 tbsp mustard or ketchup (to serve)
  • 1 egg mixed with 1 tbsp water (for egg wash, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Unroll the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into rectangles large enough to wrap around each sausage.
  3. Place a vegetarian sausage at one end of each rectangle and roll tightly, sealing edges well.
  4. Brush each wrapped sausage with the egg wash for a golden finish.
  5. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving with your choice of dipping sauce.
