Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cherry juice or syrup
  • Cherries (for garnish)
  • Whipped cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, for added sweetness to the cherry syrup)

Instructions

  1. Blend the Ice Cream and Milk: In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream and milk. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Prepare the Cherry Syrup: If using cherry juice, you can thicken it by simmering it on the stove with a tablespoon of sugar until it slightly thickens. Allow it to cool before use.
  3. Create the Swirl: Pour half of the cherry syrup into a tall glass. Slowly add the vanilla milkshake mix, allowing it to gently mix with the cherry syrup to create a swirl effect. Stir lightly if needed to enhance the swirl.
  4. Top with Whipped Cream: Add a generous dollop of whipped cream on top of the milkshake.
